Head gasket leaking like a sieve...

Anyone know where I can get a new head and/or cylinder block? I think it/they are warped. I have already replaced the head gasket, and retorqued the head as well. The leakage is bad enough that I get a fine splatter of oil on my jeans whenever I ride more than a block.

HELP!!!!

head gasket or the valve cover gasket..

there is a difference, cause teh valve cover gasket is on top, that is known to leak a bit, the head gasket is around the spark plug level in height.

The valve cover gasket is 25 bucks at your local suzuki dealer, not sure of the head gasket.

It's fairly unlikely the head or cylinders are warped, and even if they were, it is way cheaper to have them planed flat again at an engine machine shop.

There are 4 seals at the head gasket joint that are usually the culprits there, not necessarily the head gasket itself.

Did you actually replace the head gasket, or the valve cover gasket? Did you use sealer around the cam cut-aways?

The leaking is coming from below the level of the spark plugs (where the head meets the cylinder block, not where the valve cover meets the head). Even without goop, the valve cover hasn't leaked yet.

I replaced the head gasket and the gasket between the cylinder block and the crankcase with new gaskets.

What four seals are there at the head gasket joint... Oops, I just found a pic of them. Where do they go? The pic isn't too clear on that. Where can I get them?

Those four seals go around four of the cylinder studs. Those four areas around the studs are the oil passages to the head, and that is where the oil will leak from.

Any Suzuki dealer should be able to get those seals for you. They aren't very expensive. If they are damaged or missing, you will have a bad oil leak.

Also make sure that you put the gasket on the with the UP side facing UP.  For some inexplicable reason I failed to do this on my first attempt, and mine leaked like a sieve as well.
