Delkevic Exhaust install ( crappy pics)

So I got my Delkevic exhaust from ebay today, the 98 to 02 r6 pipe, Install went Okay, this is not a direct fit, I ordered the 14 stainless can.  Had to modify the mid pipe. 

I cut the stock exhaust about 2 inches past the y pipe, I had to cut off the flanged section on the midpipe as it was too big, Cut the flange off and used the grinder to cut new slits in the pipe for the clamp to compress, fit everything together, and had to use some stainless washers and a new bolt to hold the can off the swingarm.

All in all it took about an hour, unfortunately I am also waiting for a crank seal, and a carb kit from budda, So I cant start it to see how it sounds.

How did this exhaust end up turning out for you? I'm looking into Delkevic and it looks like some pretty good stuff

Why?  If he didnt bump the thread, no one would have known it existed.  And if he got an answer through pm, how would anyone else know the answer?  Comon people, think before typing.  This is a forum, used for the exchange of information.

This forum, like all other forums I frequent, generally prefers a new thread to the zombification of a thread that has been dead for more than a year. Forums based on a specific model tend to have more transitory members, meaning that since people tend to change bikes/vehicles, they often stop participating. Asking a question of someone who hasn't logged in in months, via PM or via zombie thread, is often pointless. In this case, it is usually best to create a new thread.

We should all think before we write...or speak for that matter. But, you will notice that people both give and receive crap to other members. Rarely is any actual offense meant by it.

I think bringing up old threads are a good thing because I for one didnt know about this and will being exhaust soon

So it makes more sense to create an entire new thread, instead of searching and asking simple question..?
Isn't that the first thing newbs normally get yelled at for, starting a new thread asking something that's been covered many times?
