if it makes you feel any better i spun a bearing AND broke a magnet on the generator roto bout 3 weeks ago. 
and broke the starter clutch while getting the rotor off the crank shaft. 
and this all happened 1 week before i left for school so i still havent even got to work on putting it back together. 

What year bike???

97 and miles, something like 15,xxx. i trashed the old gauges and put on a Kat speedo cause the bike was smashed when i bought it. but if i go look at the old miles and my new miles i could find out.  i wrote down what the Kat speedo had on it before i started using it and wrote down the old odo too somewhere. but its around 15 or 16k
