Sad story.  Just one point, the article mentions that one of the bikers punched the cager in an earlier altercation.  You never know what kind of psycho you are going to run into; we should all just swallow our pride and walk away, as much as it rankles, and as much as we might be justified.

The guy with a stolen truck, trying to scam some people gets angry when punched, and plows into a group of riders... So people are just stupid stupid stupid... Frankly If I had stolen a vehicle... the last thing I'd do is anything stupid to attract attention to myself on the road... Or is that too chicken...

On the way to work this morning, along a main thru road, going about 60 and picking up a little speed for an uphill.  Side street on right, car rolls to the "stop" and of course, doesn't.  Had my hi-beams on, practically had eye contact..does he respect that stop sign? Noooooo.  Did I know he would be a jerk? Yeeeeees.  I Saw there was nothing coming at me the other direction, pulled out, and zoomed on my way, but jeez...right of way must mean whoever gets there first!!
