need advice

now i know by now your all thinking "oh god what does this guy want now..." WELLLLLL........

i need some advice/protips, i want to change the headlight from a big giantic round thing to something smaller, so i would like to know what other lights of other motocycles can fit on the GS? i would like some round ones or something simliar.

and of anyone has done this, how hard was it? do you like the out come?

Well with enough time and skill im sure you can get most headlights to fit. Thats assuming you can find a way to mount it. The dual dominator headlights are popular (just google it). Also people go with a stock F headlight w/o the fairing. Im not sure about any other single round lights.....

Take a look at my post just above/below this one.  Just did the transformation from F -> E and have dominator headlights in.  Let me know if you've got any questions and I can walk you through the process to make sure you don't make any mistakes.

With enough modding, anything will fit. You can check out Thruxton fairings, V-Rod headlights, dual headlights, etc. There's eBay sellers that sell 1/4 fairings with headlights in them.

If you get a smaller diameter headlight, the mounting brackets need to be bent inwards a little bit.

well, i put little LED indicators and it does look kinda funny with a massive headlight and little LED indicators. i dont mind having to bend things to fit, and i really like the look of say and RVF400 headlight. i dont like the domination headlights they look too small and too old school to me but thats just me 2 cents. are all the plugs the same at the back for most headlights or are they different

H4 bulbs all use the same harness. Sometimes the high / low beam wires are different colors, but usually the ground is the same.
