I have a 2009 F and there are virtually no aftermarket parts for it. Everything is <2009 or for the big bikes.   I don't need much, just these:

  • a seat with more squish (snapped the pelvis a few years back)
  • some risers with a little pullback
  • a double bubble shield
  • maybe a tail bag

I don't know if there is no change from 08-09 and those parts will work, or if some of the GXR parts fit or not.  I'm not wanting to modify the bike to make things fit as I'm not into welding and fabricating.  I also don't want to start buying random parts and dealing with restocking fees.

So far the only advice I've gotten is get a custom paintjob and save my money for mods to a big bike.

Hoping some of you hav some knowledge in this...

Thanks.

1. Seat

Don't think there's a whole lot for the newer style seat and tanks.  Even for the older models, there's really just the corbin seat.  There's a guy in Florida that will modify your existing seat, though I don't know anyone who's done it yet.

2. Risers

As far as I know the handlebar mounts have never changed, so you should be able to use risers for any model back to '90 ('89s had clipons).

3. Double Bubble windscreen

This website has double bubble screens; says they fit all models up through '10.

4. Tail bag

Tons of different options, check out motorcycle-superstore to get an idea for what's out there.

Yeah what he said. Nothings really changed for your bike since '04 for the plastics, and '90 for the rest. I have a double bubble I'm about to put up for sale for half of the new price, if you're interested send me a PM. For the handle bars look into the SW Motech 1" up and 1" back risers, but they're kinda pricey.
And welcome to the site.

Most places don't list things after '07 or '08 just because they haven't updated their web site.
2001 to now the bike is the same except for the addition of the full fairing. The back end is the same so any racks & tail accessories all would work. handlebar risers are pretty standard for bars. TwistedThrottle has them as well as some carriers. Zero Gravity is the right choice for a replacement windscreen.
