Battery question

Hi all,

Quick battery question. I got a new batt for my 98 GS500E and in my haste in online searching and in the store, I got a 14L-A2 battery. I now find out this isn't quite the right model - after I installed the acid and charged it! So question is, can I use this battery? Will it fit? Will it fry the electrics?

If I need to get rid of it, so be it... maybe someone here is "local" to SW Virginia and could come get it for themselves since I can't take it back.

It won't fry anything, provided you get the pos/neg hooked up correctly. . The challenge will be getting it to fit.
