Now go ahead & flame me for being that stereotypical racist Georgia boy.
I know it's coming, but I just want us all to get along. :kiss3: I always wave to all riders, even scooters. I don't see color, I see the number of wheels on your vehicle :icon_mrgreen:
Geesh samburger, that was quite an entry!
However, since I consider myself the master of topic baggage, I will say that it's best to not get miffed at other bikers that simply don't wave back.

And as far as Afro Bikers go. . .
The few that I have come across have some of the sweetest bikes I have ever seen.
I was talking to a guy and his wife outside a Cycle Gear store here in Jersey and he had a Leopard skin Hyabusa! The bike was totally tricked-out and was well done. LED ground effects lighting, gauges all over the place. The dam thing probably had a turbo on it. This brother was wearing white paten leather boots. Sweet!
I only talked to him for about 30 seconds outside the store but he seemed fine considering he was a healthy young black man and I'm a skinny, old, gray haired white guy on a bike that cost less that the boots he was wearing.

Anyway, welcome aboard.
And keep waving!
Peace,
-Ej-

I know I'm going to get so much shaZam! for this but this is the only place where venting about it makes any sense. Just make a note that this may not apply for anywhere else & that I do not mean this in a racist way at all. But 90% of African Americans in my area do not wave to me. I have no idea why, but they're just as apathetic & sometimes hostile towards me as the average HD rider. Could be because Georgia is a state full of racism & hostility between races & they think I'd just some dumb racist redneck. Who knows... :dunno_white:

Keep on waving anyways samburger, even if they don't wave back   :thumb:

I noticed over here too Mister that the HD riders do not acknowledge you ever.

I am gonna have to print that post out and eat my words  :embarrassed:

On the recent ride with Mister a HD rider did the "Hi mum!!!" wave to us. Made me lol  :icon_lol:

i see alot of open hand down by the side when i ride around long island NY. it was everyone too, hd's, touring bike's, and rockets.

I would say i wave to 90% of riders i pass, i generally go with the two fingers, in a "peace" sign. About the same amount wave back no matter what they are on. Harley guys, choppers, sport riders and tourers all wave regularly.
