Wheel paint color code

I am getting new tires (tyres for the Britts) for my 92 GS500. In the extra wheels I have one is a dark metalic color that is a little bluish. Not pure gray for silver. The dealer said it is 17U.
Can anyone confirm this? I need to paint a front rim to match. I like the dark bluish gun metal color and I think it would look best for a shiny black with red accents bike.
Where do we find wheel color codes? All I seem to find are body paint, frame and tape sets.

From pictures on the board, it looks like the bluish metallic gray of this bike:

Anyone have a good from rim of that color so I don't have to paint it? (I have 2 brand new never used white front rims which should stay white. I hate to doctor up perfect factory originals. Anyone need a one of them?) The closer to Seattle the better.

From what I've been able to locate:
Y6G - silver metalic
28W - white
291 - satin black
17U - urban gray metalic

I did a little research from some paint shops for you. The color listed for the 2004 rim that was introduced that year is "Gunmetal Grey" closest paint code I could find was "ZCD". If you use those two parts you should be able to find the paint you need to finish your project.

BTW I have painted both my bikes rims and it is not that difficult. See my post's. I did one set on the bike believe it or not and the yellow bike I took the wheels off. A little patience and "NEW" fresh masking tape the project is about 4 hours not counting paint drying time. So don't get wrapped around the axles about matching the paint. It may be less time and cost consuming just to paint both rims the same color you want.

Good Luck with your project! Hope this helps.
