I was looking at changing the flush mount blinkers that came on my bike when i bought it which the lenses are smoked out with a clear lens and an led bulb so that they will be brighter.  I came across these online where they also work as a running light in one color and then the blinker is still the amber but was not sure if they will work for my bike or if anybody here has seen or used these before.  I have an 04F and if they will work will i need to get the flasher relay for them to be able to work correctly.

Hey, these look pretty nice.  Will they work on a GSF?
Good day to you!

What exactly is the question? If it's the running light throwing you off, you should be able to either not wire it up or piggyback it to the tail light.

Look at postings and photos of my bike. I put them on the side fairing as running lights and a side turn signal (since anyone to the side can not see the turn signals). Plus they are an extra turn signal. I believe in being seen.

Be careful what color you get for the running light. Blue is illegal. Same for green. If you're "posing", you can have any color. Once you hit the road, state and federal laws take over. I went with white running for that reason and also the WA state code states that you can legally have a white running light on the side of a vehicle. Some laws state what color you must have. Usually red for rear and yellow or amber for front - like reflectors. WA law allows a white "step or courtesy running light" on the side of a vehicle.

I believe in being seen. While flush mounts are cool, they are hard for anyone to see. That's why I added them and still have the originals on the bike.
