Carbmate Carb Tuner?

I just bought one of these to help me sync the carbs.  Am wondering if anyone has used one/if they'll work on the GS.  Was debating whether or not to build one of those liquid contraptions, but decided this would be easier/less messy.

The image on the front of the device actually shows a bike throttle grip/brake, so I assume this thing was designed for bikes.

Never used one but looking at the pic I'd assume you hook those black tubes to the vacuum ports on the carbs, then rev the engine and adjust the sync screw until you light up the middle light.  If you are spending that much ($90 in the ad) on a manometer I would consider returning it and getting one of these:  http://www.carbtune.com/   I have been happy with the years of service I've gotten out of mine and I personally find something like that easier to read because you can watch the levels jump.  Also the Morgan can work on 4 cylinders simultaneously, nice feature if you think you'll want a 4 banger bike someday in the future.  My 2 cents...

What I've read on the carbmate seems positive, and it's all solid state, so I don't have to worry about breaking it.  K.I.S.S., I guess.

My one concern...the tubes that came with it look to be the same size as the ones on the carb tune in that link...i.e., roughly 7.5mm/.3in O.D.  Will this slip onto the vac fittings of the carbs without issue?
Good day to you!

Don't know the answer to that one but you can always get adapters.  The Morgan came with a bunch of different size tubes and vacuum adapters for bikes with vacuum parts in the head.

Guess I can always go to Home Depot and jerry rig something if it doesn't fit out of the box.
Good day to you!
