F+R Calipers Dis-Assembled Cleaned Painted

The Front caliper was considerably dirtier than the rear, no doubt due to the R. leaking fork seal gumming it all up.



Removing the Caliper Mounting Bracket.



Shims/Spacers removed.



I don't even want to know what kinda of toxic waste/debris cocktail is coating this....Smaller Piston was a bit stubborn to pop out with air, but eventually it came out.





Here the F. Caliper has been completely dis assembled awaiting cleaning and painting.



All the parts have been cleaned, Caliper needs to be scuffed up for painting.

I'm using VHT Caliper paint, applied 4 coats, the last coat I baked on per there recommendations for an hour at roughly 200 degrees.





Rear Caliper finished.



Front Caliper finished.



Ready for final assembly, mounting, and bleeding.
