I'm selling it just like it is, vance pipe and all.  My buddy offered me 14k for it and its in great condition with a new chain, and all the parts you see below within a year or two with hardly any miles on it since.  You guys think $1400 is fair to him.  I'm really not wanting to but I have to raise 8k toward paying off my wife's car and allow me to buy a truck.  Once I get the truck, the baby comes and things are a bit more settled, I'll be eyeballing another bike again.

14k?? i was like  :o where did you find this  :cookoo:.

1400 doesn't sound too bad for a 19 yr old bike. i remember someone saying they bought a 05 or something for 1500 lol

Sounds like a steal for whomever is buying. But a picture is worth a thousand words. How many miles on it?

Sounds fair if he's happy with it. I'm selling my '91 in spring and hoping to squeeze $1500 out of it with 17k miles. I'll be ok as long as I sell it for at least $1000, but I'm gonna start at $1500 and see what I can do.

Any bike that runs is worth at least $1000, so I think anything that runs and is in half decent condition is ok for about $1500. Anything more than that and it at least needs to be worth something to somebody.

Bombadillo dude 1400 is top $ for 19K 91 bike ... so what sorta friend is he ... I got some friends, they'd buy it, say they'll pay me tuesday ... then show up 3 weeks later with 1500 more miles and say the bike broke ... That sorta friend ?
If so insist on small un sequential bills and test each one atleast 3 ways before taking it straight to the bank and depositing it before letting him even see it.
Cool.

Its got like 18k on the clock now.  Needs an oil change but everything out darn near literally is all brand new and functional.

Good guy!  Offered me $1800 because he REALLY likes the bike but he'll come through as he just came into a chunk of change and wants to buy a cheap bike.  I need to save 8k in 3 months to pay off my wife's rig and I can buy an 07 or newer Tundra TRD quad cab for the baby. ;)  The baby yeah......
