What gauge is that?

It's the Veypor dash with an external housing that includes all the indicator lights....bit fiddly to wire up, but it works well.

Yeah but no, there is no way I will use a straight bar on a bike that has a sport fairing  :cookoo: I still don't understand why you cant put the clip on over the triple clamp like this  :dunno_black: : With the stock fairing you have to lower the bike over the front end a bit (if you understand what I try to say? you have to and lower the forks slightly).

I played about with this some more this evening....you might be able to get it to work if the clipon's are at the same height as the top yoke.....put them above the yoke and they hit the fairing, put them below the yoke and they hit the fairing...

89 clip-ons fit GS500F with the stock front end. They wont fit on a GSXR front end.

The 89 clip ons do not fit - they hit the fuel tank of the F model (not the E model). There were 2 other types sold in Canada and Europe through 2000. One of those will fit without hitting the large F fuel tank, though it comes close to pinching your thumbs on a full, hard turn, as when parking your bike. There are other threads showing those clip ons on my 2009 and my 1992 bikes. They do not interfere with the F fairing and do not require lowering the front fork. What are referred to as the "89 clip ons" were sold in the US only in 1989. The other two types were sold in Canada and Europe. They have a slightly different bar angle. Not much, but one is wider and doesn't hit the F tank.

At the risk of stating the obvious....none of the GS clip-ons fit the GSXR forks as the diameter of the fork tubes is different.

So, is there a reason this style would not work?

Try dropping down to 4 Oreos and set your pilot screw 3 turns out.

Might be able to get one of the top two to work, the bottom one doesn't work....I tried with the stock GSX-R clip-ons and couldn't find a combination that worked.

A little video of a run round some of the local roads...

Nice road and perfect Australian riding weather. Was there a reason you blotted out your speed?

Miraz

There have been a couple of cases of misunderstandings where the local police have decided to uses videos as evidence for traffic infringements...there is less room for misinterpretation if the speed isn't obvious...

Spotted!  :police:

Saw Miraz today cruising through dee why on the tail-end of the peak-hour rush.

Sounded great might I add, and the bars look good too in the flesh.  :thumb:
