At least for the US, the 2011 GS500F seems the same as the 2009.
It was at the International Motorcycle Show in Seattle this past weekend.

Then one of the nice things about our GS500's is the reliability and simplicity of the bike. Why change a good thing?
Curious what it will be in the European or Canadian markets.

Some of the other new bikes are really weird looking. I'm not much of a fan of bikes that look like scrunched up wasps or hornets. Maybe I'm just turning into an old geezer.

Probably because all the 2011 models were actually made in 2009/10 to bypass emission legislation. They have been running production down for years and there cant be many brand new ones left now.

Looks like one new option: backwards facing front turn signals.

That's a 2009 model GS500F shown at the Seattle show which were the last ones shipped to the US.  We didn't get any 2010 GS500F bikes here in the US but they did in CA and AU as shown on their sites.  They have the white on top and blue on the bottom and look like this:

I haven't seen any 2011 GS500F models on any of the Suzuki sites I've looked at including Global Suzuki which shows their other 2011 models.  The GS was dropped from the EU market a couple years ago unable to meet their polution standards.  Seems they are only selling left over 2008-09-10 models here and abroad now.
407,400 miles in 30 years for 13,580 miles/year average.  Started riding 7/21/84 and hung up helmet 8/31/14.

I gotta say, I love the white. Makes me want to paint my GS solid white.
