Anybody have this fairing on a GS500E?  I got a 500E that I am going to put on a new frame (it was involved in an accident) and while I'm doing that I wanted to put a fairing kit on the bike.  I found that one, but would like to see pictures from a couple different angles to decide if I like it or not if anybody has done it already.

Or if anybody knows of other fairing kits I'd love to know about them as well.

I agree, get a 04+ fairing and all the associated hardware and get em all fitted. Its more work but well worth it.
The se7enty7/cheesy/tarzan boy bike was done that same way, and he went 1 step further and pulled the tank and tail off an 04 as well. I fit em all on his 89 frame and I did it just like stock, with threaded inserts welded in and brackets bolted on, not weld all the brackets. In a way it gets you some flexibility cos you can fit and move em around, even after welding the inserts, cos you can always egg the holes on the brackets. I effectively had to get the whole thing fitted once, mod it a bit and start tack welding from the nose carrier down. As I got to the bottom, I definetly had to move the top to get em all fitted perfect. Then once I got it bolted up, then weld away. I think I just had to egg the bottom ones a wee bit, I was worried about the fairing hitting the exhaust if I recall so I may have put it a shade lower than it was on the 04. Took me near about 15 days almost all evening every day, I also had a welder @ my disposal then. So I didn't have to weld it myself.

That's my current plan - if I can work it out finding used off of Fleabay I can probably do it for about the same price - and I agree what I've seen of the Titan for the "E" just doesn't look right, and I do know that I like the look of the "F" a lot.

I think mine looks like a polished poo. A flat black polish one.  :dunno_black:

Oh well ... well ... well ... well ... I got a cherry one ... black and silver 06/07. Now it will quite nicely match the black pre 04 as well, which is why I got it, cos I wasn't sure of doing tank/tail swaps, and I dont like to paint ... pay up sucka ...

PM me, I'll find some massively innovative ways to bug you. What part of the country are you @ ?

your fairings dont count seamax they are not a real kit you can buy and not get ripped.

There was a full fairing sold by Suzuki. If you can find one, they are really well made. I found one in England and will probably put it on Junior in the spring for a couple months (or get a 3rd GS500 for it?). Here is someone else's bike with one.  Uses your existing turn signals but includes a dual headlight and mirrors.

I can't see the pic on my phone but I'm guessing your referring to the TCP kit that puts u in mind of the old RF6\9 bikes.

Some of the parts were labeled with TCP. Everything is in Suzuki original boxes and everything has a Suzuki part number. So TCP may have made it for Suzuki. Anyway, it is a really nice, well made fairing kit. Much better than the Airtech fairing.

I'm up in Minnesota, so I have all winter to look and work and I will be taking my time just to stretch it out as much as possible - no riding I have to do something to scratch my motorcycle itch.
