New to message board. New Toy

New to this message board and new to owning a street bike. I thought I would post some pics of what I am starting with. Got it for cheap. Its already got a K&N filter(lunchbox??), and a Wileyco exhaust. Just needed a batt. to get running. Definately needs a new tank. Getting one in a couple of weeks. Everything else it needed I found on ebay (love that place).

Nice bike!!! I love the pink and blue color scheme with the white tires. But what is that large POS in the foreground?

Welcome! I can't see the pics at work, but if it's got a lunchbox and WileyCo Exhaust there's a good chance the PO was a member of the site and it may have Buddha's adapter for the exhaust. Good luck with getting it going.

First, the large vehicle in the forground is the baddest 4x4 ever made, the Ford Excursion. Goes anywhere and over anything. Thats my other toy. Second, no addapter on the exhaust. Someone cut it, turned it, and welded it on. Looks really shity. Going to change the whole thing eventually. I like the sound but not the looks. Not a lot of power on this bike so the lighter the better. And this exhaust just seems heavy. I was thinking of a GP style exhaust. Small, lightwieght, and stainless steal. I dont like chrome, so thats my first complaint on the current exhaust.

Oh, I get it, HaHaHaHa Thats my baby girls bike. She thinks its faster than her daddy's(right now it is). I didnt realize there would be this large of a following for this bike.

Hey nothing wrong with clothed twins too!

You gotta see the pic of (who's was it) the gs500 with the little girl bike handle bars mounted on it with streamers ROFL!

Sorry but the purple color is leaving very soon. Havent decided on a color yet. Too many choices. love the factory Suzuki blue, love the bright alien green color, maybe even the murdered out look with all flat black. Was tossing around the idea today of painting it up like an old WWII bomber with the pinup girl and all. Any sugestions??

The bomber idea would be cool. Air brush some lines for the panels and some rounds for the rivets and a pin up. Hell yeah.

I think that is flange version 1 ... crappy is my middle name - put a pic of it from the front side of the can - like get it from where your right foot would be.

Then that also looks like a crash bar that some clown with some pipe hacked up ... get a pic of that too.
