new to GS500/gstwin..in vancovuer

   new to motorcycles and gs500. (first bike) was gonna go for ninja250 but they were out, so decided on gs500. and glad that i did. Still breaking it in. w/ less than 1k on it.

Anybody else in Vancouver??

I'm still fairly new to GSTwins as well, but have been reading posts for quite some time. I'm not in Van but close by in Whistler, if you are ever heading up this way for a ride send me a PM and we can meet for a ride or beer/coffee (what ever takes your fancy).

I realized my post might be a little confusing, I meant I was near by Vancouver. I actually live in Whistler (It's a hard life!  ) Unfortunately I live in a small place with my girlfriend so don't really have much to offer! It's the price you pay to live in such an awesome town. I'm guessing you ski/board?

Yes, I snowboard.  I don't mind sleeping on couches.

I'm fairly new to riding as well. Purchased a 2009 this last summer (2010). I've also got a friend with the same bike. We both live in Coquitlam area, we could get together in spring. I've actually started a GS500 & GS500F facebook group hoping to get others onboard. This would make it quick and easy to setup some rides with others. Just a thought.
