Will these fit?

I've wanted to change the orange lenses for a while...think clear/white would look good with my colorway.  These state '01-'02 fitment, but it looks like they'd also go on an '04 or later.  Not sure, though...

They look similar to the smoke ones I bought from Germany.
There is a very slight difference: the flange on the newer bikes has an extra "bump" which gets in the way. It is a useless bump of plastic so I just clipped it off with some small flush cutters and on they went. You'll probably find the same thing.
I have a photo at home I'll post later that shows the difference. Really minor.

Cool.  Was going to order the ones from Germany, but I'd pay about double all things considered, so figured I'd just go with these if I could.

They will work. I ve never seen these before. I know that the clear lenses from the first gen Busa/Gixxer work also.

Here you can see the difference in the flange between the early ones ('02 probably to when I don't know when they changed it) and my 2009 (the orange one). There is a larger cut out to allow for that extra bump on the bulb socket. Why? I have no idea why they did that.


Here you can see that extra bump of plastic you might have to clip off (the small one on the upper right in this photo - about the 2 o'clock position). The wide one at the 11 o'clock position stays as does the one that is opposite of it.

Sure, there are lots of after market signals. But maybe Average, like me, wants to keep the factory size and look. I threw away the after markets and put back on the originals because to me I preferred the look and the larger size. Then I enhanced the look a little by putting in smoked lenses. Its not so much the money but the look you want.

Sorry, but I think the stock ones don't fit the lines of the bike. They stick out like sore thumbs to me. To each his own I guess.

Thought I had an updated pics of my signals but can't find 'em. $13 at the local bike shop.

I would have bought whole new signals, but for visibility reasons I like that they stick out that far.  I just wanted to get rid of those orange lenses.

Same reason I put stock signals back on Junior (and then smoked lenses).
