I've been trying to dial in my float height and I'm having trouble with the tangs. The po did a number on em and bent them about halfway down so they're not straight by any means. Also I'm at about a hair under 14mm and the tanga are both bent about 45 degrees and I still need to get em hhigher cause my low end bucks and jumps like a scalded horse

At what point do I just replace the floats, valves and seats?

I dont think its that easy to break the tang off. Till that happens adjust away.
The 45 degree and 14mm is all just noise to me, I never understood what they were. U tube method @ the top of the bowl = right.
However bucking @ low revs is more than likely pilots and air screws. Pilots are when you open the throttle and from 1/4 throttlr to 1/2 throttle is they even have a range. Jetting depends on throttle position, not on speed or rpm.
Cool.
