What did you do to mount the fairings?  I'm getting ready to do the same thing myself but want to find out what others have done and how it worked out.

Thanks
Mike

Sorry FF2.  I don't have a fairing but there are quite a few threads about converting from an F to an E.

Here are more pics as requested.  She's a 14 year old bike so she has some cosmetic damages on the tank, seat, and a crack on the plastic which wasn't noticeable when I installed my bags (I have a replacement but never felt the need to put it on).  Let me know if you need any more info.

This is very easy. Some time in early april I'll be running through VA on I95. I'd do it for ya for lunch. You need to keep a headlight and the ears etc handy, else you'd be left headlight less.
Cool.

I actually dont want the fairing light anymore. I would want the circular one or a double light like porkchop has. I would trade the fairing light, fairings, windshield, flush signals (that are on mine), and whatever else was installed with my fairings...for a single circle light, turn signals, wiring, and brackets, etc. If you can do that, Im all for getting you lunch! I will post pics tomorrow evening of mine and what I want to trade, in a different post.

I just came to an agreement with a nice guy to purchase my GS500 so I removed my CL ad. :woohoo:

He didn't have his MC licence yet but he is signed up for the MSF course.  I told him about GSTwins and how great everyone was here.  He should be joining the community soon.
