Nope. And I wouldn't use anyplace where the fairing bolts up to, as those are just welded on tabs to the frame and wouldn't be very strong for withstanding any impacts. You may have to drill the frame to attach any existing sliders for other bikes.
The motorcycle is no longer the hobby, the skill has become the hobby.

Power does not compare to skill.  What good is power without the skill to use it?

Regarding test riding I was thinking of asking one of our L.A. residents to contact Motorcyclist or Cycle World to see if they could test ride their '04 GS when they get it. Motorcyclist's contact info is in the magazine, the mailing address may be different from the actual editorial offices but is located in L.A. on Wilshire Blvd. Phone number and email address are given as well. Be sure to mention that you're representing GStwin.com :)
