Changing the mirrors on my GS500F

Hey Guys,

I have the F model, 2006. I feel the stock mirrors are kinda lame looking. They make the bike appear too tall. I would like something a little more "stealth"...

I can't comment on durability etc, a lot of people advise against getting cheap parts from China but even if they last 1 season it's worth a learning experience. Besides, I was at the international motorcycle show in NYC just a few months ago and saw the EXACT same mirrors retailing for $45 each  . Members say they are easy to install but again something I can't comment on yet.

Also, when I install the new mirrors I think I'm going to work on modifying the original mirrors. Going to try my hand at making my own turn signal mirror, we'll see how that works out but parts won't even be in for a month and then probably going to hold off until May or June to start. I'll start a thread to ask for advise somewhere down the line.

nice. do those mount on the fairing in the original spot? or the handlebars? i might give em a try. how would u wire up the signal part?

It says only for naked bikes. That would exclude fairing clad bikes.
How cool would that be, though. Get rid of ugly stock signals and have neat mirror/signal combo. :sigh: Ok you guys! We need these for our bikes! There's gotta be a way to make it work?

I did the GSXR integrated mirror on Flick took a while to do it but am quite satisfied you get 90% viewing of OEM mirrors.

I love my bar ends. BTW walmart carries a bar end for a bicycle and they're nice too.
