does anyone have a problem where the bikes revs will drop, the red oil light will come on, and the bike dies? its happened 3 times so far....first time was on the triborough bridge (not good) cause? i think me being a quart low on oil had something to do with it (where did it all go???)the second time was last week...massive traffic so i think it just overheated? unscrewed dipstick to check oil and steam was coming out...dunno if this is normal....i sat on the sidewalk for about an hour and bike was fine after that....today i dunno what the problem was....i went over two really big bumps with the clutch in and after the second one the revs dropped and the bike died....i waved the guy behind me past and i started it and went on my way....revs dont drop as long as u dont pull in the clutch (on the throttle) no problem until i got off the highway and i cant keep on the gas...i have to pull in the clutch and rev alot to keep the bike from dying...from my experience the first time, after doing this for a while, the clutch will engage even when the lever is pulled in which really leaves me with little to do but pull over...
ANY IDEAS PLEASE? thank you
Don't mind me I'm just new.

but would the clutch act like it did if it were just the plugs?

A quart low is bad news when total capacity is only 3 quarts. These bikes use a fair amount of oil, you need to keep an eye on that. The oil light comes on when oil pressure becomes dangerously low - running a quart low will lower oil pressure. Oil also helps to keep the engine's internals cool - which is very important on an air cooled motor. I suspect the bike may have overheated on you. Had you been sitting in traffic or anything prior to the problem? Pull your spark plugs and see what they look like - that will give you some clue as to how hot the bike is running. Burned up electrodes are bad.

Plugs have nothing to do with the clutch.

Your clutch/stalling problem sounds like your clutch possibly needs to be adjusted or maybe you have a fuel delivery/carb adjustment problem? Is the bike stock?
