engune swap???

Hi guys. New to the site. Just had a question about the engine in my 06 500. I got last year right before winter and did t have much tine to ride. Im back on it now and lovin it. Only thing is, it not quite enough power. Lol. Go figure. I was just curiouse if there are any other bikes out there (600 or up)  that would have an engine thats compatable for this bike. I have a 93 katana and would love to use the engine from it. But if that one wont work then id be willing to shop around and find an engine that would. . . . Any help, advice or just a point in the right direction would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Oh man.......

The only engine that resembles the current one is from the GR650. And even it requires a good bit of work. There are a few threads about the topic- searching for them would be your best bet.

Sound like you would be better off selling the gs for a larger bike.
