Mine is almost a 2L, but it's a cruiser.  Fastest I've had it (so far) was in the 125-130 range, speedometer indicated for what that is worth.
1995 GS500 on a 2000 frame with F front added

Well I got liter bikes, and I-4's, but not too new, considered a big sport bike when I got it. An 89 GSXR 1100.
I also have cruisers with 4 cyl liter motors, and sporty twins wiht near 1l displacement.
Cool.

Was this thread supposed to go somewhere, or was it just a survey?? haha

BMW K1300GT. 1290cc I4. 630lbs wet. Top speed limited to 160. Power wheelies in first.

And yes, I have taken it to the track.

For what it's worth, 600cc bikes tend to work better on the track than literbikes. If I *was* going to buy a sportbike for the street, I would certainly go looking for a 1000cc I4 over a 600cc I4. With that said, IMO, there are much better bikes out there for street use.

The crest in that track looks like amazing fun. My all time favorite thing to do on a bike is find sharp hills like that where you can just give it a little gas as you go over and feel the front end just float the entire way down the hill. From your lean angle I'm assuming you can't hit it with enough speed to really enjoy it because you've gotta slow as soon as you get over it, but that just gave me one more thing to look forward to with the warm weather.

That picture was taken in November, from a track day at Thunder Hill Raceway in Willows, CA.

You can't see it in the picture, but the background is actually the slope down a long hill. The top of the hill is Turn 9, which ends just before the hill crest. On a 600, you can easily pop up the front wheel. Turn 5 is similar - some of the fastest riders will lift the wheel over the crest, though you have to have the perfect line in order to pull it off safely.

Button-willow Raceway down in souther CA actually has a hill on the track called "wheelie hill."

So, plenty of fun to be had if you enjoy lofting that front wheel. :D

This is a hill!

I was just about to say, my next venture will be finding a hill that will let me get both wheels off the ground. I'll save that for a supermoto though.

Honda 919 - close enough to a liter. Goes plenty fast enough  :icon_mrgreen: :thumb: but won't be seeing any track days.

I always jump over speed humps, I forgot about those. I love those things. You have to control yourself in shopping centers buy there's a neighborhood by my parents house that has 5 of them on a quiet back road. You can just hit them all at 40mph.

yup, it was my first time doing it. There's a guy on that street that I like to piss off becauuuuuse, well here's the story. I'm on my way to school (this was a couple years ago) on my little Ninja 250. I'm going 30 down this street with the speed bumps. Well this guy thought I was going to fast and he puts his hand out, so I look behind me to see who he is signaling to. Just then as I pass him he hits me in the arm. So now I looooove to make loud noises by his house and fly down his street any chance I get.

Anyway, that time was my first time hitting some speed bumps and "catching some air" it was fun, and I'm going to keep doing it down his street haha
