Let's see your helmets

I am using a Bell M1 at the moment. I crashed with it twice and it fell a few more times so it's full of scratches.. it will be replaced with something quieter soon.

My other helmet is a Shark RSX, great lid but the ventillation is awful.

Just ordered an hjc FS10! motorcycle superstore has them on sale for $140(original was $250). Looking forward to trying to drop down sun visor.

I bought this one last month sometime. I like the wide view shield. It doesn't ratchet up/down but it is so smooth to open and close. I wanted a visor on my helmet for that shaZam! Houston sun in the afternoons and it helps but not as well as I'd hoped. Inside is A+ comfortable. The best part is the ventilation! Air flow rocks. Overall I'm glad I picked it up.

I scored an Arai RX-Q from ebay with an extra shield, in box, for 350 shipped. Great deal IMO.

I like the helmet, great venting and its pretty light.

It makes a little bit of a whistling noise sometimes, but I have no way to do if that's just mine or if that's an HJC thing. Either way I really like it and it's an awesome deal for this price, if anyone's looking for something new.

Had to get something asap for the course and a deal I thought I was getting soon after.
So my funds were limited. (had to buy a jacket and gloves too) $150 for all.

Surprisingly decent air flow, sunglasses never fog up but my glasses do even with the visor up when standing still, never seen if they are good while riding because of that.

No visual restrictions at all!
and quite comfortable.

Only bad thing, Cannot find a tinted or reflective replacement shield for it.
After Hours of searching, I found just ONE web site that sells them.
Ordered one but its been on Pending status for almost a week now!
(leatherups whole seller has them but I cant buy them off there)

Already have a replacement picked out when I get some extra ca$h.
Nothing wrong with current one, but what I picked out is 10X nicer.

Can you get another clear one? You could get some of that window tint from the auto parts store and cover the inside of one yourself.

Why am I a bit disappointed and oddly chuckling inside, that not many posted up pics of there ACTUAL helmet, most copying and pasting a promo or advert pics of said Helmet rather than an actual helmet they may or may not own.....

Um, not that it really matters, in the grand scheme of life, LOL...

Because it is easier to use an existing photo on the net than to go hunt for the camera get it out, realize the battery is flat, charge it up, go take the photo, load them on your pc, upload it to photo bucket and post it.

Pretty much entry level helmet, cost about $230aud when I brought it, feels great on my head compared to other helmets.

Well, I think I did an entire write up on my Shoei RF-1000 and don't think many people bothered to read it. I retired that helmet and got a Seven Zero Seven Vendatta 2 from Cycle gear for $110. I didn't have the budget for another Shoei as this was a graduation present. I have the gloss black color just like the Shoei. I'm debating on weather I want to do a full write up. Is it worth the time for no one to read?

First impressions it is quiter than my Shoei at speed. I like that it has little pockets for my stereo. It breathes amazing! Lots of vents.It seems lighter. The not so likes the visor seems a little cheap and doesn't always seal shut like the Shoei did. My Oakleys don't fit comfortably like the Shoei but I'm guessing it needed to be broken in more.

Overall I think a great deal for Snell approved helmet. BTW Cyclegear had great customer service.

Haven't taken pictures yet!

Highly doubt it. Isn't the point of a helmet to protect your head. If my assumption is correct then that doesn't fit the bill.

I read the write up Mary. Just cause people don't comment on it does not mean it doesn't get read. I love my Shoei RF1000 in matt black. It is heavier than my Shark that I use for night time riding but comfier.
