Rats thought I'd find pics! I really need a photo of the underneath of the '04 carb where the idle adjustment screw goes PUHLEAZ! Sooner the better!

Thanks in advanced!

what part exactly? do you need to see the vacuum/fuel lines or the actual idle adjustment screw?

Where does that bottom hose go to near the adjustment screw?

That's the hose that feeds the carburetor's fuel bowls from the petcock (fuel In)

Does anyone know if the '92 has a vacuum hose going to the right carb?  The manual talks about the vacuum hose on the left carb to the petcock.  But there is nothing on the right carb vacuum port.

I added that hose, I leave it on the carb so I can hookup my manometer with the quickness, normally a plug goes there

Yeah, that pic did the job. Poor Flick is sick. I'm pretty sure it is vacuum issues. At this point it feels as if he's not getting enough gas at the lower RPM's. Is there a way to check the vacuum lines without having the gas tank hooked up and without a measuring device?

Got school tomorrow and rain all day. Hopefully Wed. we can get Flick to feel all better! I hope so cause I can't afford to take him to the Dr. (mechanic) sorry my oil pump (aka heart) comes first! I just gotta get it done soon. I can't afford to drive the car becase I will be having surgery soon and will have to drive the car for a month and no work for a month. I am not looking forward to May!

if you remove the fuel tank your bike can run for a while, then you can put some water with soap on the vacuum lines to see if there's a leak somewhere  :dunno_black:

Suzuki Stevo

If you think it's a vacuum leak, try spraying some WD40 around the carb's, the RPM will increase if/when you spray around the leak.

Well, yeah I was getting that when Flick was running did the WD-40 around that area and got a bit of a surge. Took the tank off and tightened bolts around that area since it was about six months ago we re-jetted and the carbs were beautiful.

But, now when the Flick is cold he will start but not hold an idle to well. but, once warm can't get the engine to catch enough with choke on. I'll start it rev it hi and as soon as that happens dead!

Then a well meaning friend that I thought new what he was doing was trying to make it where you don't have to pull the clutch in to start the bike. I didn't know he was doing this because I was busy checking spark plugs and looked up and saw him. Inquired and he told me. Now I can't get the bike to even begin to start no power to the starter :technical:

I need to start a thread!
