No but many friends who are. I asked my primary Dr in Particular she was a resident at the hospital nearest the World Trade Towers and she didn't leave the hospital for over a week! She looked at me and said "it doesn't bring those people back" and the sadness in her eyes made me want to cry myself. My Dr. is one of the most caring people you will ever know and she never really lets "her" emotions show it's always about the patients I know most days she is at at the office from 0800 to 2000 when the office closes at 1700. Just seeing for a moment the raw emotion in her eyes made me wish she didn't have to relive it again. She is one of my heros.

I have another friend a co-worker at Universal I haven't gotten to ask her side of the story yet due to being out for surgery. But, from past conversations she too was a Resident at the same hospital. Instead of going on to become a Dr. the pain was so much she couldn't in good conscience stay in medicine.

I would love to do a paper on this I'm a psychology major and seeing too people whom I both  have a strong respect for go on such different paths when confronted with a tragedy.
