Jetting question

Planning on getting a pipe sometime in the near future (few months) so if I was to rejet and throw a K&N on now, would I be ok to just go up to the jetting needed for pipe and K&N or would that be too rich with stock pipe? Also, I have done the DIY advanced timing, if that plays into jetting at all.
