so ive been going on about my clutch for awhile now and  i ordered a barnett clutch kit but im not sure its my only problem......today i started the bike up and when i tried to move in first it slipped really hard but after awhile of trying it seemed to catch better like it warmed up and eventually went back to somewhat normal...i also noticed when i give it a nice twist on the throttle the clutch slips real good on me....so is it my cable causing the problem or just everything going wrong at once..im tryna get this clutch fixed as soon as i get the parts but i wonder if i should be ordering a couple more things...

When it slips, and you suspect it is the cable, is the free-play at the lever excessive?   If so, then the cable is suspect.  If free-play is not excessive (couple of mm) then it's not the cable.  It's the clutch.
