Firstly, thank you for helping me with my last mechanical headache, at least both cylinders are firing now. Unfortunately I have just been up the road to see if everything was ok after fitting new pick ups and after about half a mile I noticed that the bike started to sound and feel different so I turned around and rode home. I saw that dark fluid was coming from the airbox breather so I stripped the tank and panels off and removed the air filter which was covered in a mix of fuel and oil, there was also quite a lot in the bottom of the airbox. Proir to taking the bike out everything seemed ok, Does any one have any ideas on what could be the cause?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Is your engine over-filled with oil?  Seems you have oil coming out through the crankcase vent (on top of the valve cover, between the cylinders). This breather vent should be connected to the airbox by a hose, so that expelled vapors get inhaled back into the engine and burnt.

If you have too much oil in the crankcase, it can foam, mist or vaporize, and these vapors will condense in the crankcase breather outlet ... dribbling back into the airbox.

Ive just started it again and youre right, its coming through the breather pipe, but the oil is ok and the fluid is ptrol and oil mixed which is coming through the breather when the revs are let off.
