Hey,

Just had the exhaust blasted, then painted it.  Looks better than it ever has.  When I went to install it on the bike, the socket hit a little bit.  There're two fairly small nicks in the paint on either side down to the metal where it rubbed.  Should I touch this up, or just leave it?
Good day to you!

It's a matter of personal preference.  If you're anal about small stuff like that, like me, go ahead and fix it.  If not, let her go and enjoy the classier exhaust.

It will rust faster there. Assuming you cleaned and painted in part to slow rusting, touching up would make sense.

Don't know what you used - if rattlecan, you can either mask it up with newspapers and tape to spray, or spray a puddle on cardboard and use a small brush.

I would go over it with a brush. Though on my xs, I sprayed it on the bike, when it was hot. Man did it smoke.
Cool.
