Engine parts interchangebility between the years.

I've got to piece my engine together is there anything to watch out for as far as parts interchangebility between the different year GS500's?  Ed

Sorry Ed, only thing I can think of is the bearing caps. Shouldn't mix and match them.

For the rest of the parts, you can find the part number on bikebandit.com and then copy & paste it into their search bar. Then there will be a small button that says "fits machines" or something.
