Hello,

I have a headlight mounting bracket that i bought at a discount but it's in a chrome finish.  I also want to paint my front brake lever and my rear brake lever.  What type of paint shoudl i use.  Is there any need to strip off the paint?

Need to scuff / remove chrome with abrasive before paint. Should prime it as that point as well with a metal prep primer (red oxide or other.)

Lever will require a paint that sticks to aluminum. Wheel / hubcap paint will stick.

Wipe with lacquer thinner prior to paint to remove oils.
