replacement ignitions

after my GS sitting over the winter, it seems that my ignition tumbler is messed up. the key turned fine when i parked it, but i have just spent the last 45 min trying to get my key to turn without issues. i have sprayed lots of wd40 in there, but it doesnt seem to be making much difference.

so i figure, if i can get a replacement, then i will...   what years are compatible with my 1990?  are all the harness's the same or do they differ at all?

i found an ignition and key from a '99 and was wondering if it would work with my '90 ??
