not good man. ive been fighting that shaZam! off for a while.  :technical:

Hey man, My wife is worried about everyone in the house - her and kid - getting it, and the warning that it comes with it - it can cause organ failure etc etc, plus that once you get it, anytime you get a cut etc etc you're likely to get it easier ...
Any of it true ?
Cool.

well, once you have it it IS easier to get it. any sores or anythign you havce cover them do what doc tells you as far as getting that knocked out. http://www.bing.com/health/article/mayo-126415/MRSA-infection?q=mrsa+infection

OK I should tell you something though ... India is rather very germ friendly. Plenty of em everywhere, billions of people in close quarters, open windows open drains etc etc ... just going there is like a whole 1000 vaccines. I've not been there in 6 years, but my wife and son went 2 months ago.
The immunity level Injuns have is pretty high, especially to old school microbes. Like Staph that MRSA basically is.
I think both the doc and my wife are over reacting a little. Anyway I'm being cautious though, dont want the kid to get it especially.
Cool.

As long as it is in the wound they shouldn't be affected unless she licks your face I'm not getting into the Buddha's sex life though!

For you my friend did you not follow my instructions? MRSA is nasty but the tough anti-biotics can get it. What do they have you on? Vanco what?

Nah I don't do it under the sheets LOL. But, we wrestle. Whoa? Wait? How did you get me dragged into my sex life!

Back to the topic at hand. I work at a theme park and I get exposed to germs from around the world. My first year at Disney I had colds all the time! Now I don't really get the common cold or flu. I usually get the weird tough krap. I've had to be on IV antibiotics at home twice since July! Make sure you are cleaning your wounds at least twice a day. Keep 'em dry but not too much sun either. Are your wounds dressable?

Dry and cool is the better option IMHO, it likes warm and wet.

true. but was told by wound care before i had to leave, warm and wet = no. BUT drying out  completely = no as well. BUT keeping it cool  = yes. but some of mine had gone almost to the bone. had to rig up a bandage for it. used a silver based antibiotic/wound dressing for it. its mostly cleared up. until everythign started going to shaZam!. eyelids swollen etc. my daily life isnt fun lol. anyhoo back on topic, teh wife and kids will be fine. if you must, go to a doc, and have them write somethign that mrsa cannot fight.
