Brand New Black Dominators Rusting?

I have had my dominator headlights for a month. My bike is never in the rain. I see some rusting where the front lip connects to the bucket.

Looks like I have to do some painting...

Had mine on my bike for almost two years and no signs of rust. Your Dominators must have been painted on a Friday. (Screw this, it's Friday, one coat will do her)

I have in general found aftermarket stuff a bit worse than the stock crap ... believe it or not ... worse than stock crap. I prefer to take somethign off another bike and mod it, but that has lead to my downfall too, like on the bloody MZ ... nothing fits.
