Spotted a lone grey n black GS in the rain on old Cleveland road last night at 845

Gold coast yestrday, we left a set of lights together. I pulled away as we headed toward carrara markets.

Later, saw a fellow on a cruiser with the same jacket as cods, highland park side of the highway heading toward the nielson rd lights from maccas side.

Um, I was in the car...

Yesterday, followed a GS with screaming demon sounding pipe, aftermarket mirrors, after market indicators, and duel headlight things, followed along the top of Kang Clifs and a bit along Annerly rd before I turned off.

Saw a blue GS parked up on the ippy motorway at 6 this morning heading into Ipswich. Then saw the owner 500m up the road carrying a jerry can back to his bike. I was in my car but couldn't stop to help I was running late myself

Just saw a nice shiny black gs500f with a learner plate on the back 3.15pm near fire station in Nerang

Wow was today the day for GS spotting. Spotted my first one on Taylor street toowoomba, then saw a few of them being used as q ride bikes in a steakhouse carpark in toowoomba, then a black frame grey tank one being ridden by a fella not much older than me at the bp truck stop at gatton, then passed a lady rider (yes I said lady) with pannier bags on the warrego highway just outside Ipswich, and a strangely familiar one entering the Ipswich motorway at rocklea with a Ventura, and to top it off saw a black frame blue tank one on old Cleveland road lights at cooparoo.

Tonight, 7.30pm, Dinmore, cut on front of me as we entered onto the Cunningham. Some kind of wind screen.

Saw a real nice Black GSF getting wet at 1.00pm in Nerang yesterday

Saw at least four GS500's at the Barry Sheen Festival Of Speed @ Eastern Creek

On the job site today (at Toowong), I came back to my bike in the bike parking area and saw another GS500. had the 2010 colors so it is either a 2010 or 11. only had  600 clicks on it and five months rego left so I figure it was bought last month. Poor thing has a broken clutch level. A center stand whoops probably and they tried to bend the clutch lever back and thus broke it.

I left a not on a piece of paper for the rider to drop by and say "hi".

that would be referring to me^ the bike fell over while i was undoing the lock at legacy. amateur hour side stand whoops. was so very bummed, but hopefully getting the lever replaced tomorrow for 12 bucks! and yep. bought last month '11.

anywho i am about as noobie as they come with bikes, but im loving the gs so far

Hopefully you now know the rule of motorcycle parking on the side stand....

Face up hill or
When facing down hill, put it in gear, engine off, roll the bike forward until it stops, Then get off it.

Good thing you only have Minor damage.

There is MUCH to love about the GS. A 23 year build/sales history cannot be wrong. And this place has a Wealth of knowledge.

And there's a black and grey F somewhere around my neighbourhood now that i'm back in Sydney for a while, seen the last 2 afternoons after work. first one with the same colour scheme as mine ive seen on the road in a while.
