So I had a not so nice stop-and-drop a week or so ago. Barely any damage but grinded the hell out of the end of my bar and creased part of the bar into the hole. Is there any grips/bar ends that will work with this obstruction to the end, or is there any recommended way to reshape the bar end to the correct dimensions?

You could get a pliers to try bending it back out or just grind it off.  New bars are only $20, you could probably get any old bar ends and swap out the screws so they will fit to that obstruction.  Bar ends are like 10 bucks which I think is silly-expensive.

I wanted to get something like these

but with the way my bars are now, it wont work.. Can't grid it off because then the bar would be to short on that side.. Wanted to find a 7/8 inch punch but can't find one anywhere... Will give the pliers a try..
