repainted the bike!

howdy guys.  hope the riding season is going good for ya.  it's awful muggy around here so i've taken the past week and repainted the ol' gs.

got her back in april and I finally had a week to spare.  I used some pretty cheap paint and this is the first time I painted so even though there are some imperfections I'm really happy with the way it came out.  I'm too pooped out to repaint the frame but I've repainted all the body parts and and tires and i think it looks mean.

so here's a before and after.  if you have any questions about it, let me know. otherwise, enjoy the transformation!!

i purchases some decals online (the suzuki logo and SUZUKI word in silver) and im gonna get some simple black decals to cover up some of the rough spots (my first attempts at body filler) which will be similar to the triangles on the tank of the newer models.  I have a friend who does it for a living and does it for cheap, if anyone needs some custom decals let me know and i can hook you up too

Muuuch better.  A little banana boat, but that yellow looks unique.  I can't see any of the imperfections or anything but most of the time people will be admiring you while you're moving, and as an overall scheme that looks legit.

I think your in the same boat I am, bikes with no insignias look cheap to me... like someone put them together in china, My bikes painted all black and I'm going to have to get something for ID purposes... the paint looks great though A+ job

yea, the logos and tank grip are on their way from ebay (somewhere overseas...)  but i agree with the plain bike thing
