So went riding to my lab yesterday and noticed the neutral light was flickering when I was idling.. Never noticed that before... The bike also seems to be running a little sluggish at low RPMs and for the first time I noticed my headlight flickering in neutral when i was stopped... IDK if I have just never noticed this before or if it is a new problem creeping up.. Any recommendations?

Well easiest first, how's the electrolyte level in your battery?

Brand new (maybe 1 month old) battery with full electrolytes.

I think you have a corroded connection somewhere. Check and clean all connections, especially those in the headlight. Use and old toothbrush to clean them.
