I don't think it is a big deal.  I guess maybe someone could find out your address or something.  whoopdeedoo

Anything connected to your license plate is considered public info under the "Freedom of Information Act".Which means they can go online or directly to the DMV and get all the info on you.They can even go get your social security number,birth certificate,criminal record,driving records,and medical records.

I'm not in Canada; how about you try California, 19U7787, and post or PM what you find?

The only thing I really fear is that the black helicopter folks will find me through the RFID chip in my driver's license..
