Any thoughts? Anyone with one or know anything about em?
Honda GB500tt.
This is the actual bike

But he wants to paint her up and mod her a bit. Kinda this scheme.

Ok bike? Performance wise compared to the GS?
He's back in Aust from Lao and other SE Asian countries where he had a DRZ400. This will be his first road bike.

Yeaaaaaa 1 lunger ...

Gutless, but fun, super light (prolly not by today's standards) and super narrow.

IMHO a skorpion 660 - 5 valve water cooled and a good 30 lb lighter than a gs, made with better components (paioli suspicion - yea suspicion its german dammit, grimeca brakes, 4.5 wide rear tar 41, fork will just about sneak a nose on a GS on a track) ...

A GB500 has no chance outrunning a gs. It is however the perfect candidate for cafe'ing.

Cool.

yes! i actually had the chance to ride an overbored sr500 with all the intake/exhaust/rejet etc. made quite a noticeable difference over stock. i think it cost him about a grand.
