so i did my valves today finally,

I put the intake at .05 and the exhaust at .11-14 (10 was loose and 15 wouldn't go in so im betting on .13...

the bike started up AMAZING! went for a ride and set the idle to 1200 turned it off and went in and cooled off for a few hours... now normally when i come out after letting the bike cool enough i can touch the cylinder heads i have to choke the crap out of it to get it to start... this time... vrooom! perfect start up instantly to 900-1000 and idled fine and warmed up and stayed at 1200... Bike has its old power back if not more... I also did iridium plugs just to be on the safe side.  It actually sounds better too... more thump and idle and a lot more roar at high rpm... after 18k I feel bad for the bike... I pulled out factory shims... and both the exhausts had no clearance, the front was loose on one side (i put both my fronts to .05) and tight on the other.

anyway, It might just be the 110 degree weather but it started perfect and ran amazing. I hope I don't have to choke it near as bad anymore.

if it was 110 here i wouldn't have to choke either (my googlefoo tells me thats 43.3333 degs C or something like that)

these bikes are cold blood so around 5 to say 15 C you would most def need to be choking that chicken  :D
