Sissy Bar / back rest

My little boy likes to ride occasionally, he's 9 and kinda a small.  Has anyone fabricated and installed one ? Temporary of course, don't want to look to lame out there 
I would just feel better if he had a back rest. Any suggestions would be great

Corbin makes one that goes w/ their seat but it's expensive. Haven't seen a fabbed one yet.

Have you used the board's search function? There is a thread here were someone shows their homemade backrest. Even has mudmap type plans you can follow.
