So about to get ready to do a carb cleaning since the gs500e is no longer my primary motorcycle and want to make sure this could be a symptom and know what to look for...
Runs fine cold until it warms up, then it starts to lose power (sitting in neutral). Idles fine but once I apply throttle the revs start to drop. If i open the throttle all the way the revs will bounce between 1.6k and 500 and keep bouncing, if i let go of the throttle the engine completely dies. I tried with the gas cap open (incase the vent was blocked) and same thing.

Randomly while it is bouncing back and forth it will start to rev up properly and if i let go it goes back to idle, then it starts to bounce again if i open the throttle.

I also have white smoke coming out of the exhaust at high revs but there is dilute seafoam in the gas so this could be one reason.
