Thanks to buddha for helping me with the new jets bike runs like you wouldnt belive. I just put in the new 20 pilots and 132.5 mains and left the mids at 60, the o rings on the needles and the throttle responce is perfect. Before it felt like there was something holding back when i open up the throttle now there is no dead spot just open flow.  thanks again.

Thanks, you 2 are too kind.
Anyway you're running all stock right ? cos your note said K&N pod I think. But I know we went on PM's too, sadly I dont remember what I said to any one ... if this crap wasn't right up logical I'd really have a hard time.

Fraze - good to know it made it all the way to canada.

Cool.

Whaaaa ... yours - OK PM me I dont remember your name/address.

I wanna say you'rs be there in the next day, the wolfman and yours went same time I wanna say, but he lives 30 miles away.

I actually stuffed it under his door ... he doesn't know. I also put in some high compressions pistons and bigger cams in his bike. But soon I'll take it away ...

Cool.

I have stock exhaust the drop in k&n. But couldn't see it running any better, i dint have to choke it any more to start up and warms right up. The only thing i will do is find some nice sound bolt on muffler, unless you got one with the cams you left. Then ill do some custom paint job this winter and ride in the wind.

Drop in K&N meeeh, same if the ring is in, even if not, its barely 1 size. I over cook it 1 size anyway so you should be perfect.

Hey buddha while I got your ear:  what jetting would you recommend for a 94 bike with a full V+H exhaust?

I been having problems with mine since I serviced my carbs (super high idle, sticky throttle response...hasn't left my driveway since then actually )   and I can't get to the bottom of it...wondering if it's my jetting/idle screws and I'd be curious to know what you'd do.

94 with pipe ? stock filter will be 125, K&N lunch box will be 150, K&N drop in is 127.5. The rest is all the same, 40, 3 turns and 1 washer, and remember turns and washer are just a starting point.

Sticky throttle ... sounds like a personal hygiene issue to me ...

I dunno, high idle and sticky throttle well, sound like the throttle cable is hanging, just common sense.

BTW make sure no leaks - intake or exhaust as well. A lot of people dont realise a carb that is marginal but sealed up well cos its been there for years will work better than one that has been rejetted and cleaned but not selaed up right. I mean just disturbing the seal means you may have trouble sealing it back.
