Lurching, sputtering, and dying

I was riding my GS this evening, and it was lurching and sputtering. When I got to the end of the street, I pulled the clutch, and it died. It seems to spit and lurch more with the choke on. After a few min of running, the lurching and sputtering kinda quit, but everytime I come to a stop, it will die.

I just got it back from the shop, where the carbs were redone. This was about 100 miles ago.

Any suggestions???

maybe you're low on gas, and you need to switch the petcock to "Reserve"

The tank is full of gas, and the petcock is on primary

Clogged pilot jet, maybe.

And the petcock "Pri" position is not "primary" it is "prime".  Should leave it on "On" or "Res"

yeah it kinda sound like they screwed you on the cleaning of the jets man.. was the bike having problems when you turned it in?
also check your float level, you can find the how to link on this web site. If your fuel level is to low or to high it will do that!

Also if you let go of the clutch and you are still in gear your bike will die... just an fyi.. you didnt really specify if you were in neutral or not!
What are your rpms at when you idle?
