Took quite a while but I'm pretty happy with the result. I used those foam floor mats you can buy at WalMart (the ones with the puzzle border so you can fit them together) and just traced the tools and cut with an exacto knife. It does limit how much I can keep in my box but it makes finding tools much easier. We have to do this on our toolboards at work (aircraft industry tool control policies) so I'm used to it. The wrenches were a pain in the ass to do, that's for sure.

Good idea but all my tool are in a bag that is loosly organised. But for all my socket sets I filled in the empty space on the underside of the plastic tray it all comes in with silastic (silicone filler) to reinforce it so it doesnt crack and break with with me putting sockets in and out all the time. For the first week of so it smelt of vinegar and helped clear the nasal passages but it works.
Some say that he submitted a $20000 expense claim for some gravel

And that if he'd write a letter of condolance he would at least spell your name right.

Too much space between tools. I prefer a socket clip bracket (dunno official name). But its a metal strip with clips to get the sockets on. BTW there is also plastic ones that are pretty good. Craftsman makes em.

Cool.

I did this to my roll around a couple of years ago. Best thing I ever did. I didn't have as much space and used high density foam, which is a pain in the arse to cut out.

Good Job!
